Wiring is optional

Ports and cables are hidden until you turn Wiring on (P, or the Wiring button in the header at the top of the viewport). Without them, drop a component onto another to link them — a Person onto a board, a Board onto a Timeline, a Media onto a Media Grid or a screen — and the workspace tells you what the link means. A block can show its own ports with the eye icon in its panel header.

Wiring rules

Cables run left → right: from an OUT pin on the right of a node to an IN pin on the left of another.
Colours must match: same type fits, any fits everything, number fits text; a person cable only fits a person slot. Lit pins fit; dimmed ones do not.
Drag a pin to connect (either direction); drop the new cable on empty space to pick a component that fits and connect it. Grab a cable end to move it; drop it on empty space to disconnect.
Drag the middle of a cable to add a waypoint and route it by hand; drop a handle on another cable's handle or on a trunk to run the cables together. View → Cables picks Smooth, Orthogonal (90° turns) or Straight and whether parallel cables bundle.

Build

Add: left toolbar: click a category, click a component (or drag it into the scene) · Shift+A search
Move: drag a block (Shift for height in 3D) · gizmo G, W/E/R
Snap: M or the magnet toggle · View → Snap picks the kinds: grid (size 0.25–2), objects (neighbours' edges and centres), ports (a pin level with the pin it is wired to, so the cable runs straight), rotation (15°) and scale (0.25) on the gizmo · Shift while dragging skips, Ctrl halves the grid
2D: 2 toggles the 2D editing mode: a top-down plan · left-drag box-selects · middle-drag or Space+drag pans · wheel zooms · L auto-layout
Link: drop a component onto another · or, with wiring on, drag from a pin to a lit pin
Re-route: grab a cable end and drop it on another pin · empty space disconnects · Esc puts it back
Route: drag the middle of a cable to add a waypoint · drag a handle to move it · drop it on another handle or a bundle to share it · Alt+click removes · double-click resets · View → Cables: style, rounding, thickness, bundling
Edit: Ctrl+D duplicate · Del delete · Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z undo / redo
Group: Ctrl+G group · C collapse / expand · Ctrl+Shift+G ungroup
Edit in place: double-click text on a face (a note, a prompt, a card title, a name, a date) to edit it right there · Enter saves (Shift+Enter for a new line) · Esc cancels · Tab next field · Enter on a selected block edits its first field
Interact: click / drag cards on a Kanban board · drop a card on a Person (or a Person on a card) to assign it · press Run on a Flow Terminal · click a checklist row · click a device screen or an Input face to fire events
View: P wiring · T theme · N panel · H help · Esc cancel
